The Ranch at Fowler
The Ranch at Fowler
The Ranch at Fowler will enhance the future Fowler ecosystem by adding over 250 medium-density, attainable housing units within walking distance of the Fowler Power Center (FPC). Catering primarily to working-class families, this new complex will provide cost-effective living options without compromising quality or sustainability. This complex integrates seamlessly into the larger vision of the FPC, featuring a mix of duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes that will foster a strong sense of community
Project Highlights
Childcare and Community Recreational Facilities:
A central community recreational hub will be at the heart of the residential area, prominently featuring a childcare facility. This childcare facility will provide affordable early childcare and after-school programs for school-aged children. The community hub will include fitness zones, communal patios, community gardens, and a large community center that houses neighborhood administration and security offices.
Community Design and Walkability
The neighborhood design prioritizes pedestrian freedom and safety, creating a walkable environment that separates vehicle traffic from pedestrian pathways. This thoughtful layout includes roads intertwined with green corridors, ensuring a tranquil yet connected living space. The residential area is located within walking distance of the FPC's commercial areas, offering access to FPC’s job opportunities and daily necessities like a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants.
Sustainability
Aligning with the FPC’s overarching sustainability goals, each home will have solar roofs and energy storage systems to maximize energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact. All appliances will be electric, supporting the center's mission to operate without fossil fuels. Furthermore, ample electric vehicle charging stations will be provided, ensuring sustainable transportation is accessible for all future residents as the state electrifies.
