The Fowler Power Center (FPC) is a one-of-a kind investment in the future of California’s Central Valley. Built on 175 acres near the Clovis and Adams interchanges of CA SR-99, the FPC will become a center of emissions-free transit and commerce. The FPC will host one of the nation’s largest multi-level electric vehicle charging hubs, sustaining traffic through the center. The FPC’s fully-electrified buildings will not use fossil fuels.
The site will be home to an expansive mixed-use shopping center with restaurants, retail space, hotel accommodations and traveler-focused amenities. FPC will contain multiple fully-electrified distribution centers and charging infrastructure for all-electric vehicle fleets. The site will bring jobs, economic activity, and tax revenue to the city of Fowler while reducing California’s transit emissions and air pollution.
Project Highlights
ADDING NEW JOBS AND TAX REVENUE:
With over 400,000 sqft of mixed-use retail, 60,000 sqft of hotel, and 2,200,000 sqft of e-commerce warehousing, the site will provide over 1,500 local jobs to the City of Fowler. The site’s property and sales taxes will add over $6.1 million annually to the city’s budget. Located across Highway 99 from the city’s center, the FPC will increase economic output without compromising Downtown Fowler’s unique atmosphere.
BRINGING SERVICES TO FOWLER RESIDENTS:
In addition to the new economic activity, the center will bring crucial services to Fowler, such as a large grocery store and pharmacy. Access to these services will improve the quality of life for Fowler residents, new and old.
ELECTRIFYING THE VALLEY’S TRANSIT CORRIDOR:
With over 100,000 daily trips, this highway corridor desperately needs publicly available electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our site will provide 200,000 sqft of retail charging options, which will help fully electrify California’s auto fleet. The FPC will also offer 400,000 sqft of charging infrastructure for private fleets of electric delivery vehicles and semi-trucks.
Sustainability:
Sustainability is at the core of FPC’s design. Along with vehicle charging capabilities, the site will provide enough power to electrify all buildings on site. Our retail and distribution centers will be emissions-free and fossil fuel-free, creating economic activity without damaging the local environment.
